On Sunday, March 5, 2023, at approximately 9:09 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies were notified of a citizen report of a possible intoxicated driver traveling south on Main Street in Hailey, Idaho.
Deputies located the described vehicle in Bellevue and initiated a traffic stop. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Adam Michael Stine, age 32 of Celina, TX.
Upon investigation, deputies determined that Stine was driving under the influence, his third offense. During a tow inventory search of his vehicle deputies located controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and alcohol. Stine was charged with felony Driving Under the Influence, I.C. 18-8004(1)(A)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance Less than Three Ounces, I.C. 37-2732(C)(3), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, I.C. 37-2734A(1), Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, I.C. 23-505(2).
Stine has two prior convictions for driving under the influence from 2016 in California and 2017 in Illinois, making his third offense in ten years a felony. Stine is currently in the custody of the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment Thursday afternoon in Magistrate Court.
